About me
I am a passionate painter, who loves landscapes and the beauty of still life.
More than decoration, my oil paintings are windows to our world brimming with light and life.
The story of
Dani Marsden
Predominantly working in oils but also in acrylics and pastels, I am an artist who enjoys trying to capture the different moods of nature created by light and shadow.
The changing seasons, from the promise of new beginnings in Spring to the abundance of Autumn, provide plentiful subjects to choose from.
When painting the sea, I look to portray the variety of form, colour and the play of light on the water. The constantly changing patterns formed by the foam which rides on the surface of the water are a particular but fascinating, challenge to capture.
In addition, I enjoy painting still life arrangements focusing on the colour and form of the subject. I am an exhibiting member of the Wokingham Art Society and the Crowthorne and Sandhurst Art Society.
